Well I knew it was 2 with a remainder of 3. Whenever you divide a number 1-10 by 11 you can solve by subtracting 1 from the numerator to get the first number of the answer. Then the second number of the answer is 10 - the numerator. So to do 3/11 3-1 = 2 and 10-3 = 7. Which makes it .27. So then i knew it was 2.27.
your way is definitely faster.
